Since our incorporation we have experienced strong growth. At first, trading in wood pellets, as well as wood and bark briquettes, made up our core business, whereas now we also operate as a manufacturer of biomass products. We have also expanded geographically and are active in Germany, Austria and Scandinavia as well as a number of other European countries. In 2004 we set up the subsidiary GEE Bioenergy A/S in Denmark, and then further strengthened our market presence by founding the Austrian subsidiary GEE Energy GmbH in 2007.
Marquard & Bahls, our parent company, supports our independent dealings and encourages the continuous growth of our business. We can thereby benefit from our business group’s many years of international experience in energy and the supply of warmth, and take advantage of the existing synergies in infrastructure.
