In the coming years we intend to further build on our internationally-geared trading business, while investing in additional production facilities for biomass products. Our goal is to produce a part of our trading volume ourselves.
Geographically, our preference is to expand our trading activities in the regions in which Marquard & Bahls businesses are already active. Markets in Great Britain and France are currently being made available. Our number of production facilities for biomass products should also increase in the coming years. This is the background against which we are currently developing projects at home and overseas.
As long as it remains sensible to do so, in the future we will operate in other areas of renewable energy, alongside biomass markets, and will expand our range of products and services in line with customer requirements. In Europe we have been able to position ourselves as one of the most important traders in biomass products and aim to expand on this position in the future. For this to be achieved we are always open to new partners, project proposals, product ideas and logistics alternatives.
